Just had to add this one. You don't get to see this to often, as Luke hates to sleep.

Day 5

The roof is on and they are starting to install the plumbing and electrical. Everything is going well! They even installed achitectural shingles that I wanted. There was some debate about that.

The house, Day 4

No new pictures today, but there has been progress. They have pretty much finished up the framing, and will start on the roof and windows today! They will also start the electrical and plumbing. I did a walk through last night, and everything looks good. I found a few spots in the framing that I would a have done differently, but then there is more then one way to skin a cat. All in all everything looks good, just an ex-framer tends to be picky. We have had several deer hanging out watching the proceedings, will try and get a picture of them. I think that we will definitely need to have a fence or we will be planting and replanting all our trees and flowers.

The house is going up! They are moving pretting quickly, but not fast enough for us!!! It won't be a large house as you can see, but it should be about 2500 sq ft by the time I am done. I have alot of fence to build so if anybody wants to donate time and ..... money (jk) come on out and help. I also have a 14' x 14' deck to put on the back.

Foundation is in! They start framing on Monday!

They have finally broken grond on our new Home! We are very excited. More pictures to come.
